Corona Del Mar, a name that means Crown of the Sea, is a seaside neighborhood in Newport Beach, CA. The village is surrounded by sandy beaches and rocky coves to give its inhabitants the feeling of a coastal resort setting. The Beaches
The area has two main beaches – Corona Del Mar State Beach and Crystal Cove State Park. Corona Del Mar State Beach is a protected beach that used to be a surfing hotspot. It only stopped being a surfing hotspot because it has been shielded by The Wedge, the new surfing hotspot. Crystal Cove State Park is in the Newport Beach area surrounded by beach houses. It’s considered a park, but it hosts about three miles of beaches and tidepools. It also has an underwater park, acres of bluffs and canyons.
Other beaches include Big Corona and Little Corona. Big Corona is the special place for vacation with its surfing, volleyball, akin boarding. Little Corona is ideal for people who want a quiet vacation time. It features a relaxing environment with a tidepool.
The Communities
Residential real estate in Corona Del Mar consists of groups of single-family houses along the Pacific Coast Highway. These houses are closely spaced yet detached. They all have different architectural designs.
Although the neighborhood has a concentration of single-family homes, it has few townhouses and multi-family houses. They’re all packed in different communities. In Corona Highlands, there are lower price single-family homes. It has a mixture of older homes and newer homes. The older properties are smaller than the newer ones. Flower streets is home to beautiful cottages and townhouses. All of the streets in this village are named after a type of flower.
Harbor View Hills is family-friendly. New real estate developments are California ranch style house. It’s also where the elementary school and the high school are located. Customers who are interested in apartments can also find their homes in Corona Del Mar. In the Bay Apartment Homes, customers can find either one or two bedrooms apartments. In the Waterfront complex, the apartments come with up to three bedrooms. This one is pet-friendly and has a perfect view of the ocean in some of the apartments.
